Our Summer Intern Program runs from June until September, recruiting has started!
One of the roles we are recruiting for is a Systems Engineer Intern to support the Systems team in transferring Thales architecture documents and Airbus/Boeing documents in JAMA. This candidate will also support systems modelling effort. This mission critical position helps the design and implementation of complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Understand the role of a Systems Team in a company
· Assist in the documentation effort of the Systems Architecture Team, using Rest API and PHP programming
· Support operations of the AVANT In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity Systems
· Utilize MA(Melody Advance) and Jama requirement tracking tool
· Help drafting Visio drawings in systems architecture documentation
· Edit and link specification documents in Jama
· Refactor System ICDs
Required Skills and Experience:
· Pursing Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field of study from a four-year college/university
· Strong understanding of software design, software programming, computer and network terminologies and concepts
· Basic understanding of Android and Linux environments
· Skilled with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word) and Visio
· Experience with Rest API and PHP programming
· Be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
· Great verbal and written communication skills
· Self –motivated, critical thinker with a technical background
· Ability to work independently as well as in teams with members of other engineering and non-engineering teams
