Our Summer Intern Program runs from June until September, recruiting has started!

One of the roles we are recruiting for is a Software Engineering Intern to join the SSIV team with the improvement of SPNL (Software Part Number List) Manager Phase III, which is a production tool for SSIV to do customized system software integration, verification and validation activities related to the airline customers, to ensure successful customer software release and delivery. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently on SPNL Manager and in a time sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review the feedback and wish list on SPNL Manager from the SSIV team and other teams to meet SPNL Manager Requirement.
· Implement SPNL Manager Phase III based on the agreed requirement.
· Integrate and test SPNL Manager Phase III on the dedicate server, and provide bug fixes when needed.
· Deploy the SPNL Manager Phase III to the whole SSIV team.
Required Skills and Experience:

· Pursing Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field of study from a four-year college/university
· 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Basic Knowledge of the following:
· C/C++, Java Script, Java, Perl scripting, Visual Basic, PHP/HTML, XML, Android
· Database, such as, MySQL
· ClearQuest, JIRA
· ClearCase, Git
· Linux/Windows OS
· Skilled with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
· Be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
· Great verbal and written communication skills
· Self –motivated, critical thinker with a technical background
· Ability to work independently as well as in teams with members of other engineering and non-engineering teams
