In the frame of Thales Alenia Space deployment in UK, in close coordination with THALES ALENIA SPACE JV Management :
· In the frame of the NEOSAT program, the AOCS/GNC engineer will participate to the AOCS and GNC development for NEOSAT using all actuation technologies (Reaction Wheels, Electric Propulsion, Cold Gas propulsion, Chemical propulsion) covering all operational phases from the separation to the deorbiting.
· He/She takes part in the AOCS Equipment specification (Gyrometer, GNSS receiver) and will interface with the AOCS subsystem team and other subsystems (Electrical Propulsion, Chemical Propulsion, Avionics)
· He/She is responsible of the product competitiveness
· In the frame of R&D projects, he/she will participate to AOCS / GNC studies and system trade-off and will be able to take the lead on technical proposals
Key Responsibilities and Thales Alenia Spaceks
· Participate to NEOSAT AOCS activities at THALES ALENIA SPACE in the UK in cooperation with THALES ALENIA SPACE in France
· Participate to the development of new products (GNSS, Gyro) in cooperation with other THALES ALENIA SPACE entities
· Contribute to THALES ALENIA SPACE development in UK
Experience, Skills and Qualifications needed:
· AOCS/GNC with associated standard design SW such as MATLAB, SIMULINK
· Interface with Propulsion, Avionics, System
· Experience in development of electronics products would be suitable
· Experience of working in a multi-discipline team environment
· Customer, partners, suppliers interface
· Experience of R&D projects, satellites studies & developments
· Experience in Space domain
· Engineering degree
