Research Analyst - Energy

Job description

Analytical, problem solving research analyst role for someone with real insight into the activities of the world's largest energy companies; oil and gas, exploration, production, the changing face of power generation.

You will already have gained some initial professional experience in a research role and be building the profile of an able, analytical high-flyer with demonstrable interest in research and analysis as a discipline in its own right.

To apply for this role you will meet the following criteria:

- Understanding of petroleum industry market forces with particular emphasis on the Upstream industry.
- Interest in innovation and fresh thinking
- Good grasp of economics and principles of financial analysis
- Strong academic profile at least a 2.1 degree.

The ideal candidate will be committed to progressing a career in research analysis and have a real interest in Corporate and Commercial decision making, with an understanding of consulting as a business model.
