Sr Wireless Certification Engineer

Job Description:

The role requires managing and delivering Cellular product certification with worldwide operators; AT&T, Verizon, KT, Docomo, China Unicom etc. Leading GCF activities and PTCRB certificationOwnership and responsibility to achieve and maintain regulatory certification for wireless system, including 802.11 device in 2.4G/5G. Manage product certifications with local labs, consultants and directly with in-country certification to achieve worldwide certifications.Communicate status of certification efforts to cross functional team.Prepare all paperwork with cross functional team for submission.

Key Qualifications:

·  Excellent understanding of the Certification procedures modules, devices of the worldwide operators
·  Experience with protocol test systems, RF conformance test, GCF/PTCRB approval of devices
·  Excellent understanding of 4G/3G/2G technologies and 3GPP standards and the ability to learn quickly using relevant wireless standards.
·  Understanding of IP telephony network, SIP, IMS, and standards like VoLTE.
·  Hands on experience with certification packages from Rohde and Schwarz, Spirent, Anritsu etc.
·  Excellent inter-personal skills.
·  Ability to drive outside Lab to complete projects in a timely manner.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
