The Role

Responsible for the correct processing of the incoming goods & outgoing orders within the boundaries of our work-instructions and procedures according our company guidelines. Is also responsible for the safety according the Health&Safety regulations related to the usage of the internal transport equipment.

Employee is mainly responsible for the processing the outbound orders on quantities, correct parts, damages and other inconveniences to maintain a correct delivery level.

Allowed to:

·  Use a (electric) pallet truck to move goods at the Warehouse area
·  Report inventory problems to the direct managerial staff
·  Suggest improvements of the (sub-)process in general

Responsibilities

·  Receiving of the goods according the available instructions
·  Sorting and (re-)packing of the (individual) parts
·  Checking of the received goods
·  Book the received goods into the system
·  Transfer the received goods to the Put Away area
·  Picking of the orders according the available instructions
·  Consolidate orders
·  Checking of the picked goods and/or fulfill in the system

Packing the orders according the agreements made with the customers and perform additional tasks related to the creation of the complete shipments s.a.; weigh, measure, (re)stacking, labeling, sealing, etc.

Pay attention to the specific required packaging instructions and/or advise the best method for receiving the (individual) goods into our inventory to prevent damages during the Put Away & storage process and/or for sending the goods out to prevent damages during the transport process.

Check for the right documentation at the incoming & outgoing shipments s.a. packing list, labels, commercial invoices, transport documents, etc. and communicate / escalate this to the direct managerial in case documentation is missing / incorrect.

Ensure work area is clean and organized, storage areas are kept in order at peak fulfill general WH tasks in case this is required to get the job done.

Desired profile

Requirements

·  High School diploma or equivalent
·  Mastery of Microsoft Office software packages
·  Knowledge of / experience with WMS / ERP systems would be beneficial
·  Familiar with external shipping software would be beneficial
·  Must have basic command of the English language, both written and verbal.
·  Proven work experience within Logistic or Distribution center environment
·  Certified Forklift driver
·  Team worker
·  Accuracy
·  Flexibility / self-starter
·  Stress resistance
·  Take initiative and work with minimum guidance
·  Reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused
·  Perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods of time
·  Ability to lift 10-25 kg's on a daily basis
·  Maintain a safe working environment.
