Tesla Charging Team Internship – DACH duration 6 months

Building our Charging network is vital to our success, making driving electric vehicles more accessible to a wider audience. Our Charging Network is expanding across Europe and so is our team. As an intern, you will be a vital part of our wider Charging Infrastructure team in the DACH region that manages all aspects of Supercharger stations and now also of our Destination Charging program.

Our internship is like no other, in that you will take on real responsibility from day one and there are really no limits to what you can achieve. We foster an environment in which anyone can take on projects and truly make a difference to our business success. But, you need to be the sort of person who can make things happen for yourself, you will not have your hand held within Tesla. So if this is you, then you are the person for us. We need self-starting interns, who can make their own way within some challenging and ever changing business environments.

You will learn to operate in a complex international environment dealing with the whole process of developing knowledge of country mapping, identifying potential sites, assessing site viability, negotiating contracts and site development through to marketing and opening of sites. If you are structured, detail oriented and have strong administration skills maybe this position is for you.

Tasks and Learning goals

Learn to assist with managing the statutory tasks, including the following:

·  Supporting the Destination Charging team in the delivery of the full lifecycle of Destination Charging installations in the DACH region
·  Building a diverse pipeline of sites that meet the qualifying requirements
·  Learn to reach out to your identified sites via phone or e-mail to get them enrolled on the program
·  Learn to manage all aspects of site on-boarding until activation takes place, including: securing signed letters of acceptance, qualifying full suitability of install location, ensure a seamless delivery of equipment to properties, dealing with electricians or installation specialists, troubleshooting
·  Acting as the nerve center in coordinating team activities, and planning workflows in your area
·  Communicating outside of the team to other functions within the business, detailing key deadlines and ensuring work stays on track
·  Devising and optimizing tools to manage all elements of team activities and workflow
·  Handling a variety of administrative tasks is an important part of this internship, including budget management and payment processes
·  Additional projects may be possible during your internship within this function

Desired profile

Requirements

·  Preferably studying or recently graduated with a BSc or MSc-degree
·  Excellent communication skills with an general interest in the technical field of sustainability
·  Able to work in a multinational and cultural environment
·  A great eye for detail
·  Genuine interest in and talent for administration work
·  Fluent in German and English
·  Project Management, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Manufacturing Engineering qualifications are a plus
