The Role
The Senior Sales Training Coach works with the broader Academy team, key business partners, and the
field to analyze training needs, and to coach and deliver training content to develop teams to reach their
full potential. This position will work directly with Managers and their teams in the field to increase
performance across the region. They will deliver training content and coaching to maximize
engagement, performance, and retention. We are looking for someone who understands a sales
pipeline and is able to teach Managers and their teams how to coach and develop their teams to meet
and exceed their goals.
Responsibilities
• Partner with Managers and key business partners to analyze the health of the business to determine
where your efforts should be directed – which stores should be visited, what is the focus and what
individuals you need to work with
• Support onboarding of new Sales & Delivery Managers with facilitation of our New Managers
Essentials Workshop
• Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine training needs and work quickly to
identify, build and implement training solutions
• Establish clear goals and objectives for store visits — communicate these objectives to Managers
and stakeholders in advance
• Deliver training in both classroom and in-store - flex facilitation style for various types of delivery
channels and command the respect and attention of training participants from junior to senior
levels
• Execute knowledge-checks, validations and role-plays to certify learning
• Provide side-by-side feedback and coaching for Managers, Owner, Energy & Delivery Advisors, &
Customer Experience Specialists
• Communicate organizational updates and information to the team with an understanding of what is
relevant and important to their business
• Design and administer post-training surveys to evaluate effectiveness and deliver reports to
management following up from Store visits
Desired profile
Requirements
• 3+ years of Leadership or Management experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
• Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
• Ability to speak comfortably and confidently publicly
• Ability to evaluate student, manager, and instructor feedback and key performance indicators in
order to identify potential areas of improvement
• Ability to work effectively on global and virtual teams, and accommodate time differences
• An upbeat, positive and professional attitude
• User experience with both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Pages, and Keynote a plus
• Experience training or facilitating in a customer service or sales support environment a plus
