Tesla is looking for a Service PLM Change Analyst to join our team in supporting Service Operations, to ensure integrity of our Master Data and associated documentation. This person will work with many cross functional teams to ensure the continuous alignment of part attributes, BOM, and documentation through our PLM (Enovia) and ERP (Warp Drive) systems in support of each business unit needs. The position will be responsible a broad range of activities surrounding Bill of Material changes, configuration, and management throughout the product lifecycle including effective dates and material dispositions using home ground applications
Responsibilities
· Need expert understanding of Enovia Product Lifecycle Management System
· Excellent understanding of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM), Revision Control and Change Management.
· Structure BOMs, provide analysis on changes, route and follow up on CAs for quick turnaround. Work closely with operations support teams
· Need to work with Enovia team on system enhancements
· Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
· Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
· Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports with MS Excel expertise
· Proficient at queries, report writing and presenting findings
· Understanding the change process between old and new parts and maintaining documentation
Desired profile
Requirements
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering
· Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment and developing processes with a focus on efficiency and safety
· Project Management experience balancing time across several projects and cross-functional technical and operational teams
· Need to have SQL knowledge
· Experience working with complex Bill of Materials and analyzing Engineering design changes
· Automotive industry experience related to design, manufacturing, and vehicle repair
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Enovia or other PLM system experience
· CAD experience (CATIA preferred)
· Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
· Open-minded self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment, and to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, adapt, improvise and problem solve
