Job Description:

The employee will travel to each service center and train parts personnel in our parts and inventory operations. Additionally, the employee will perform onsite audits to ensure accuracy within Tesla Motors' proprietary service center management system and it's users.

Responsibilities:

• Organize full-scale physical inventory & periodic cycle count at the service center level

• Perform random audits, ensuring parts inventory accuracy and availability

• Perform “start-up” parts operations

• Implement service center parts department lay outs for optimal efficiency and stock

• Liaise with service center parts department to maintain critical parts stock levels

• Reducing shipping expenses, rush orders, and off road cars due to parts shortages

• Maintain and update training record on the training matrices

• Help develop the on-hands practical training room for Parts.

• Organize, facilitate and conduct training, as required.

• Facilitate departmental training requests ad hoc.

• Promotes continuous improvement of all Parts programs.

Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• Experience in the development and delivery of MS Powerpoint presentations

• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies

• Strong technical writing and communication skills

• Demonstrates personal leadership and accountability

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar environment

• Experience teaching classes for a manufacturing audience or providing on-the-job training directly with manufacturing personnel.

• Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• Proven ability to be highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Fluency in English is required
