The Role Tesla is seeking an Event Coordinator with excellent planning and communication skills to join our Employee Experience team. The Employee Experience Event Coordinator is responsible for planning internal events and initiatives that positively impact Tesla’s employee experience globally. The position requires a high degree of ownership and will be responsible for managing elements of multiple programs. The Employee Experience team runs Tesla’s well-being, recognition, internal events, community engagement and perks programs. You will leverage creativity, communication channels, and change management skills to strengthen connections between employees and their teammates, leaders and our mission. Responsibilities • Clearly define goals, develop work-plans and implement communication strategies for events • Utilize network of cross-functional contacts to execute events at multiple locations simultaneously • Develop post-event documentation of wins, areas for improvement and budgets to measure ROI • Support existing Employee Experience programs and assist in the development and implementation of new, innovative initiatives to engage and connect employees • Identify and drive process improvements for the operations of programs and events • Manage vendor relationships Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree and/or other evidence of exceptional ability • Minimum 2 years of experience in an employee experience or events role • Strong event planning, project management and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated experience managing and measuring programs with global impact • Ability to prioritize work and execute multiple projects and events in parallel • Ability to work with ambiguity, in a frequently changing, fast-paced environment • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing • Proven experience in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Word
