The Role

We seek a strong, successful, business development professional, who is passionate about our mission and desiring a “hands on” approach to driving revenue and growing the Tesla owner base. This person will be responsible for development and operation of the sales and tactical marketing operations in their region. They will be required to manage the performance of employees, to achieve sales goals while operating to agreed budgets. Sales operations will be both via corporate owned (non-franchise model) Tesla stores and independent sales advisors.

Responsibilities

·  Manage the sales organization both in the store and in the field to meet and exceed monthly revenue and unit targets.
·  Manage the sales organization to deliver excellent client experiences.
·  Identify develop and execute region-specific marketing opportunities with the primary goal of generating sales leads.
·  Respond to customer and media inquiries from various sources to include the website, CRM system, direct emails, phone, events, and in-store activities.
·  Assist in the management of outside advertising, public relations, and other strategic marketing activities that occur within the region with the principal goal of increasing brand equity.
·  Facilitate growing community of Roadster owners in the region and create opportunities for brand building through owner loyalty events/programs.
·  Assist in managing the Regional Store build-out, from location search to completion
·  Lead staff training and serve as a brand liaison for new team members hired locally.

Desired profile

Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
·  Excellent written and communication skills are a must.
·  3+ years sales management experience.
·  Ability to develop and manage sales and marketing programs that deliver results.
·  Car enthusiast with broad knowledge of cars and drive experiences.
·  Excellent relationship skills, an open mind and a willingness to reinvent yourself
·  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and prior experience with a top-tier CRM system mandatory.
·  Strong attention to detail and the importance of prompt and thorough follow up.
