The Role:

The Regional Parts Manager will be responsible for performing onsite audits to ensure accuracy within Tesla Motors' proprietary service center management system and its users. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the Parts Department held to high inventory standards and proactively ordering the appropriate parts on time. This position will require regularly travelling to each service center within the designated region (North, Central & South Florida).

Responsibilities:

·  Organize full-scale physical inventory & periodic cycle count at the service center level.
·  Perform random audits to ensure parts inventory accuracy and availability.
·  Train personnel in parts and inventory operations for Tesla Service Centers; development and maintenance of metrics and KPIS may be required.
·  Implement Service Center parts department lay outs for optimal efficiency and stock.
·  Liaise with Parts Distribution Centers to maintain critical parts stock levels.
·  Reduce shipping expenses, rush orders, and off road cars due to parts shortages.
·  Promotes continuous improvement of all Parts programs as well as lean process implementation.

Desired profile

Requirements:

·  Minimum 3-5 years’ automotive field experience.
·  4 year degree in a related field preferred or the equivalent in relevant experience plus evidence of exceptional ability.
·  Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
·  Hands-on experience developing and/or delivering training materials.
·  Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
·  Demonstrated excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought. Natural ability to speak and write effectively at all organizational levels.
·  Demonstrated ability to be a resilient change agent capable of leading organization through paradigm shifts.
·  Strong multitasking project skills with the ability to adapt to change in scope, time line, or focus without sacrificing execution
