The Role

Tesla is looking for an experienced distributed operations leader to join the most progressive car company in the world as a Field Service Operations Manager. We are seeking a professional with customer service experience and excellent oral and written communication skills. This is a high-functioning program and project role for the respective market. We seek individuals who value customer satisfaction. The a Field Service Operations Manager is a key contributor in the Tesla experience. He / She will support the Market Director and the Regional Service Managers through program and project leadership, operational excellence as well as providing operational P&L support in the region. It is a hands-on leader role which requires excellent change acceleration skills.

Responsibilities

·  Support local Regional Service Managers / Service managers; drive process improvement, financial P&L targets and overall operational excellence by working closely with the Service Director and staff to improve workflows and procedures
·  Work with Service Operations team and Service Motion team to ensure highest standard of customer service and repair operations
·  Support overall regional service strategy through supporting local Regional Service Managers
·  In conjunction with Service Operations team and local Regional Service Managers, develop and implement new processes to improve customer service and operational productivity across all regions in the market

Desired profile

Requirements

·  BS/MS in Engineering stream or equivalent.
·  3 - 5 years of multi-site management or equivalent HQ project leadership experience in a distributed operations environment
·  Experience in process improvement and lean operation implementation
·  Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public.
·  Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
·  Ability to work in a team-based environment and achieve what others may perceive as impossible
·  Possess strong analytical skills and have an inherent passion for seeking knowledge, sharing knowledge and continuous process improvement
·  Valid driver’s license and insurance required
·  Travel 50% of the time
