The Role:
Troubleshoot, repair, and disposition non-conformance materials. Respond to out-of-control processes, work on yield improvement projects, and qualify new equipment and processes that are being introduced into the manufacturing line. You will also perform supporting activities for engineering including process testing, 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives, material handling improvements, production line configuration changes, and safety procedures. Manage workload with a positive attitude as a team player in a collaborative work environment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
· Day to day coverage of production line, including rapid response of out-of-control processes.
· Troubleshoot and repair Non-Conforming Material (NCM).
· Investigate root cause of production defects and test failures.
· Support implementation of process changes to improve process and product yield.
· Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
· Manage workload with positive attitude and proactively help co-workers.

Requirements
· Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
· Skilled at troubleshooting electrical and/or complex systems.
· Accurate record keeping and documentation of issues encountered and work done.
· Ability to manage workload while contributing to a positive, team oriented work environment.
· Skilled with the use of a variety of hand and portable tools.
· Responsible with parts and tools inventory.
· Skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc).
· 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
· Availability for occasional off-hours calls.
· Associate’s Degree in Electronics or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
