Orientation & Onboarding Coordinator
The Role
Tesla is growing! This means more and more new hires throughout our many facilities and in the
field. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful coordination of all
things related to new hire orientation and onboarding training efforts globally.
Responsibilities:
With Tesla's rapid growth comes the need for scaled up training solutions. This role specifically
will need to ensure the following:
· New hires are enrolled in and complete all necessary training
· Completion of and attendance in courses is recorded (you'll be responsible for following
· through with new starters and their managers to ensure completion)
· Global new hire orientations are scheduled along with all other necessary arrangements and
· support staff (ordering lunch, coordinating with guest speakers, etc)
· New starters receive positive initial experience at orientation and are smoothly handed off to
· their team afterwards
· Feedback from trainings is collected, analyzed, and reported out to key players
· Maintenance of all documentation, training assets, and relevant materials
· Learning Management System (LMS) and all courses within it are kept up-to-date
· All new hires are supported throughout the onboarding process and have their questions
· answered
· Additional support to the broader Learning & Development team
Requirements:
· Motivated self-starter able to identify issues and propose solutions without being asked (this
· one is really important).
· Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
· Interacts professionally and confidently with individuals at all levels within the organization.
· Project management skills; able to juggle multiple projects and balance competing priorities.
· Superior written and oral communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel. PowerPoint & Apple iWork programs a plus).
· Experience with collaboration tools including Zoom, WebEx, GotoMeeting, JoinMe, is a plus.
· Driver’s license.
