The Role:
The CMM/Faro Arm Operator will ensure that all products meet customer and company requirements, by performing inspections of individual components, stampings, castings, and supplier parts. The successful candidate will have 3+ years inspection experience, in a manufacturing environment.
The effective candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to work independently. He/she must establish and maintain a professional working relationship with external and internal teams at all levels across the company. Candidates need to be able to balance multiple projects requiring varying skill sets in highly dynamic and diverse working environment. They must be able to work independently, but also be a top contributor in small and large groups.
Responsibilities:
· Develop CMM programs for ad hoc and NPI inspection requests.
· Modify existing inspection programs.
· Operate CMM, Faro Arm, and/or ATOS scanner.
· Support Production SPC and Engineering special projects by collecting high quality dimensional data.
· Develop data reports for inspection requests.
Qualifications:
· Inspection Experience; experience using PC-DMIS (preferred).
· Faro Arm/CMM experience; preferably Polyworks/PC-DMIS.
· Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
· Possess a good understanding of GD&T.
