The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Information Security Analyst to lead the security outreach program at Tesla Motors. This individual will be responsible for building security awareness training, managing projects/initiatives, overseeing security requirements, and acting as a security liaison supporting business units. This person will also be responsible for external outreach with the security community.

Responsibilities:

· Track and provide project management for ongoing Information Security initiatives that directly supports their assigned internal business units including WW Sales/Service, Legal/Finance/HR, and Manufacturing.
· Manage our security outreach programs including identify, plan, coordinate, and deliver projects that grow the Vulnerability Reward Program and build relationships with world’s security community.
· Develop and promote awareness initiatives and training.
· Work directly with internal business groups to gather requirements, understand their needs, and help security engineering teams implement the correct level of security to address potential risks.
· Analyze security data and produce regular reports containing system security status across various platforms.
· Consult and be the security advocate across teams on security best practices, policies & compliance, and facilitate security reviews.
· Communicate identified risks and mitigating strategies to technical and non-technical business users.
· Driven to automate and improve.
· Detect, identify and neutralize actions which may pose a risk or threat to the business operation or company image.
· Follows industry best-practices for security incident, problem, and change management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor degree required
· Strong project management and organizational skills
· Ability to excel in a fast pace/challenging environment
· Security+ certified
· Detail oriented
· Demonstrate passion for Information Security
· Must be able to multitask with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike.
· Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units, at various levels.
· Self-starter who is comfortable working as part of a highly-leveraged team across geographic locations.
· Proven analytical skills to properly evaluate and interpret cross-functional business requirements
· Ability to resolve complex issues related to enterprise-wide business requirements
· Strong presentation, verbal, and written communications skills
