The Role

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to perform daily tasks required to ensure the operational availability of assembly equipment in production while designing next generation manufacturing systems for Tesla.

Responsibilities

·  Create 600 VAC designs, including 110 VAC and 24‎VDC
·  Be part of a team developing automation systems
·  Support current production activities when required to ensure high availability of the production systems
·  Lead continuous improvement processes to improve machine uptime and reduce machine breakdowns
·  Troubleshoot quality issues
·  Design, implement, and fully document improvements and modifications

Desired profile

Requirements

·  1-3 years experience with Eplan for electrical design
·  Experience using AutoCAD for electrical design
·  Must have expertise in one trade, proficiency in others, and the willingness to learn additional
·  Ability to lead others to achieve company goals
·  Experience creating & maintaining a positive atmosphere in a collaborative work team
·  Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and e-mail programs
