The Role
The primary goal of the part-time Delivery Orientation Specialist is to provide a fun and educational experience for new Tesla customers on their first day of ownership. The Orientation Specialist will accomplish this by assisting with the accurate completion of documents, providing a tailored vehicle orientation, and answering any questions about living with an electric vehicle. An implicit responsibility of the Orientation Specialist is to conduct educational conversations and business dealings in a way that creates a superior customer experience that represents the Tesla brand values.
Responsibilities
· Welcome customers to the Tesla family by making their delivery day a fun and educational experience.
· Assist customers in completing their sales contract and registration documents and ensure all information is complete and correct.
· Educate new owners by conducting a comprehensive vehicle orientation, tailored to the individual customer's needs.
· Foster a feeling of community amongst owners, and provide information about the ongoing benefits ownership.
· Demonstrate a mastery of all Tesla products and services, as well as local incentives for Electric Vehicle owners.
· Keep up with industry trends and best practices.
· Contribute ideas toward improving the Tesla delivery experience.
Requirements
· Strong communication and customer service experience required.
· Positive, enthusiastic and passionate about the changes in the personal transportation industry.
· Ability to understand and convey business issues and technical concepts.
· Strong sense of team mentality and reliability.
· Ability to work evenings and weekends.
· Legal right to work in the United States.
· Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable and safe driving record.
· Must have a minimum of two years driving experience.
