The Role

Tesla is looking for a Body Repair Technical Support Specialist to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position will involve supporting the Body Repair Program in all aspects of its Approved Body Shop Program. This position is located at our Tilburg location. Responsibilities

·Provide Tesla Approved Body Shop support EMEA wide.

·Provide in field collision specific training/support to Tesla Approved Body Shop technicians on electric vehicles collision repair.

·Communicate field issues and work closely with Service Engineering to support customer vehicles.

·Ensure that programs and processes are developed, assessed, communicated, and administered in compliance with Tesla’s objectives.

·Generate Weekly reports of activities and findings.

·Report critical items found in weekly technical meetings.

·Monitor and assist with Diagnostic cases from Service field via Toolbox (Tesla Diagnostic System).

·Knowledge of: methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.

·Ensure that programs and processes are developed, assessed, communicated, and administered in compliance with Tesla’s objectives.

·Ensure active promotion and continuous improvement of Tesla Body Repair Network technician activities.

·Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet project deadlines.

·Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.

·Ability to travel nationally and internationally to support training needs.

·Must be able to work independently in limited supervision environments.

·Comply with all Tesla safety rules, guidelines and standards.

·Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations.

·Perform other related duties as assigned.

Desired profile

Requirements

·Body Master Technician level – minimum 5 years’ experience.

·Advanced experience with aluminum welding and bonding.

·Proficient in use of Celette, Car-Bench, and Car-O-Liner frame equipment.

·High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English.

·Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

·High school diploma or equivalent;Certificate from Vocational School in Collision Repair preferred.

·Maintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance as a Body Repair Program Trainer.

·Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public.

·Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record with at least 2 years of driving experience and insurable.

·Capable of lifting up to 45 kg.
