The internship assignment

As an intern for our Retail Development Team you will contribute to the deployment of our Retail and Service network around the EMEA Region, focusing on the conceptual planning of new and existing network facilities. You will have the chance to work in a highly specialized cross functional environment, with challenging projects where you can acquire an extensive experience through architectural design, construction management and technical knowledge.

Tasks and learning goals

·  Survey and architectural analysis of buildings/facilities
·  Planning of Retail stores, Service Centers & Facilities
·  Update / development of Architectural and Technical Equipment CAD block library
·  Preparing presentations with Tesla Standards for external partners
·  Assist Project Management and site installation team on daily requests
·  Keep project database up to date
·  Keep equipment database up to date
·  Keep communication/assistance to cross functional groups and external providers

Desired profile

Requirements

·  Studying/Finished bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or construction engineering
·  Excellent spatial organization skills, with a rational approach towards the optimization of layout design
·  Great technical interpretation skills
·  Good analytical skills and autonomous problem-solving mindset
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced multinational environment
·  Excellent time management skills
·  Detail oriented personality and interest in continuous learning/improvement
·  High level of competency in using AutoCad, Adobe package and MS Office
·  Fluency in English (other European languages are a plus)
·  Willingness to relocate or to commute on a daily basis to Amsterdam for the duration of the internship.
