Role :
As an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) System Engineer, you will be part of the team working towards Tesla’s vision of autonomous vehicles. Your role will be to support the team with system level engineering for both driver support and the Autopilot functionalities.

Your Responsibilities
- System design for diver support systems such as FCW, AEB, LDW, ACC.
- Develop functional requirements needed for Tesla’s Autopilot program
- Develop the hardware architecture needed for Tesla’s Autopilot program
- Support safety analysis of ADAS and Autopilot systems.

Job Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Greater than 3 years hands-on experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
- Excellent and clear communication skills
- System safety analysis based on ISO 26262
- Team-player and passionate about developing cutting edge technology with aggressive time plans
- Experience in system-level design tools, including state machines, flow-charts, functional specification systems like DOORS, fault tree analysis and failure modes and effects analysis
- Understanding of advanced driver assistance sensors such as radar, camera, ultrasonic, and LIDAR
Desired Skills:
- First-hand understanding of automotive communication systems and software development in embedded microcontrollers
- Familiarity with legal compliance requirements for ADAS systems
- Vehicle analytical modeling capabilities

Qualifications
- Greater than 3 years’ experience (or PhD thesis) with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
- MSc., PhD. in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or equivalent
