Summary

A Design Administrator is a key part of the design department team, supporting the Designer to ensure customers can buy great quality and inspirational products at the best price.

Main Responsibilities

- Providing design, product development and sampling support to keep the department running smoothly
- Completing general department administration, filing, printing and tidying to help with team performance
- Resolving day to day operational issues/queries, escalating where appropriate
- Conducting customer, catwalk and competitor research to inform thinking, sharing findings within design team meetings
- Helping the design team, identifying core lines, key statements and season colours to drive sales
- Making recommendations for the 'must haves' and seasonal products for our customer
- Getting involved in the design process to aid my development
- Compiling brief packs to achieve 'right first time' quality buying sample
- Inputting and adhering to the critical path
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity & due diligence

Ideal Candidate

- Creative design (incl. principles, tools, techniques)
- Research in to fashion trends
- Clothing retail (ideally multi-channel)
- Range planning
- MS Office and design tools (incl. CAD, Illustrator, Photoshop)
