Summary
The Campaign & Communication Assistant will report into the Campaign and Communications Manager (CCM) and will be part of a tight team supporting and working together to achieve high levels of creative, helpful, relevant content to be repurposed across the business.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of multi-channel but does not need to have expert experience in all media.
The position will be based in our Head Office in Welwyn Garden City. Free parking is available and Welwyn is connected to London Kings Cross (c. 25mins). Our offices include gym, canteen, petrol and dry cleaning services.

Main ResponsibilitiesWorking with commercial teams:
- Build great relationships with buyers and buying assistants
- Gain understanding of commercial processes
- Gain knowledge of range, be able to identify products by eye and title
- Attend seasonal sign offs to gather trend, category and product priorities for the season
- Communicating timelines and deadlines
- Gather, collate and manage nominations for content based on commercial briefs and marketing driven content
- Gather, collate, organise and return samples of nominated product
- Liaise with buyers on logistics of retrieving, distributing and returning samples
- Collate, chase and secure sign off of products appearing in content (whether that is pages on Workstream, or products on social channels)
Working with PR team
- Cross referencing timelines and communicating any clashes
- Working to 'share' samples between the two teams
Working with Seasonal Campaign teams
- Understanding seasonal missions and the impacts on the content plan
- Communicating timelines and content ideas
- Supporting with enquiries
Working with Agencies
- Communicating commercial priorities
- Working collaboratively to ensure nominations and samples are clearly communicated
- Working collaboratively and logistically to ensure all nominations and products samples are received, utilised and returned
- Communicating amends and feedback
- Working with the editorial teams to manage the sign off process of pages and product information
Ideal Candidate
- Strong Excel capabilities; creating, compiling and co-ordinating multiple documents, to ensure clear understanding and communication of process
- Highly organised; able to create process where necessary, keep on top of multiple tasks in a clear and organised way
- Great time management capacity; able to clearly prioritise key issues, able to be self sufficient in process, managing own time, understanding timelines and working effectively towards deadlines
- Keen eye for detail; attention to the small things is invaluable throughout the processes
- Pro-active; able to jump in and get involved, work to quick deadlines ready with ideas and open to opportunities
- Problem solver; quick thinking, considers multiple options
- Adaptable to change; multiple requests within the process can lead to consistently changing priorities, adaptability is a must
