About The Job
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Impulse Technical team.
Working as a Technologist within the Impulse team, you will be responsible for the product safety, quality & legality in your own product area. There is a wide breadth of product suppliers, located across the globe and the role offers the potential to travel to these manufacturers. As well as the day to day role, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that impact the wider business; working with commercial, technical, legal & marketing functions in order to deliver these. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the development and management of a diverse range of products.
Main Responsibilities
· Work across a range of functions to help deliver the overall Category & Technical plan
· Support the Category Commercial team to deliver safe, legal and good quality products that are appropriate for the market/country in which they are being sold and that comply with Company Specific Policy
· Research and understand the Legislation, Testing Requirements and Customer requirements (through Benchmarking & Market Reviews) across the Market
· Contribute towards the buying decision for new products by writing technical briefs for the sourcing hub and review products during buy trips
· Work with the technical team to ensure all suppliers comply with our Technical and Ethical standards
· Support the Development of Packaging Artworks & Instructions Manuals in the appropriate languages
· Monitor returns and customer complaints, investigating where required and taking appropriate action to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction
