About The Job

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join the Grocery Non-food team which is part of our food division.

Reporting to a Product Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting the category technical team in managing our KPI data, including customer complaints, factory audits, specifications and product compliance.

Main Responsibilities

Category Support

·  You are the guardian of support for your category (product & suppliers), supporting the category to improve on all key customer ad supplier measures

Supplier Management & Due Diligence

·  Managing our supplier list you will ensure all supplier information is accurate and kept up to date.
·  Manage the technical performance of the category through managing data and reporting on supplier KPIs
·  Work with the Technical Managers to ensure all products have active specifications
·  Support the Technical Managers to deliver a programme of supplier visits & ensure Technical audits are closed off and supplier standards are driven forward
·  Work with Technical Managers on follow up and close off product testing failures, with corrective action plans
·  Provide support in the event of a crisis, such as an EPW/Recall, media issue
·  Support the category to deliver the critical path to ensure all new products and product improvements are launched on time from technically and ethically capable suppliers

·  Previous relevant experience and a proven, successful track record of delivering safe, legal and ethical products to the customer would be desirable
·  Have the ability and enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills to keep your learning up to date
