About The Job

The Service Technician will deliver quality and reliable service to their customers and colleagues using the operating model in order to minimise equipment breakdown and impact on business as usual.

Main Responsibilities

You will have a weekly completion of 100% of allocated Planned Preventative Maintenance, achieve all service level agreements for reactive tasks, and have no outstanding reactive works orders over 7 days old and the work you complete consistently receives a green rating from their manager.

You will ensure all the relevant information is communicated in a timely manner, and pride yourself on delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of commercial gas, heating and plant equipment as well as associated controls together with good electrical knowledge and ACS qualified to: COCN1 / CDGA1 / CIGA1 / CORT1 / ICPN1 / TPCP1A.

You will have hands on experience of working on direct fired boilers, Air handling units, boosted cold water systems, Gas fired water storage heaters. You will also have a City and guilds or equivalent in air condition and refrigeration along with FGAS 2079 cat 1 as a minimum requirement with hands on experience of large Multi deck DX coil package system / VRV's / Split systems as well as an understanding of electrical fault finding and service / maintenance of ventilation systems.

You may have experience of the following: Service Technician, Air Conditioning, Gas, Maintenance, Service Engineer, Facilities Services, Supermarket, FGAS 2079, Air Handling Units, Boosted Cold Water Systems, Planned Preventative Maintenance, VRV's, Split Systems, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, Maintenance Technician etc.
