About The Job

The Digital Designer will be responsible for the creation of design assets to support training. An experienced digital design practitioner capable of producing high quality design work.

Main Responsibilities

-Producing compelling, colleague learner friendly design work for our colleagues that incorporates visual concepts, typography and imagery.
-Responding to briefs and delivering first-rate quality, attention to detail, consistency and innovation.
-QA processes in place for own work and effective prioritisation.
-Working closely with development team prior to, during and after design to ensure projects are delivered to best creative standards.
-Inputting into Tesco-wide projects & processes ensuring designs fit for Channels & towards convergence for one Tesco.
- Working within the corporate brand guidelines.
-Optimising designs for all screen sizes and learning devices where appropriate.
-Communicating and collaborating effectively across the business to build strong stakeholder relationships.
-Being passionate about design and keeping up-to-date with new design trends in the market.

Ideal Candidate

- Proven digital design experience.
- Interest in ecommerce.
- Responds quickly in a fast paced environment.
- Proven skills in industry standard design software.
- Proven graphic design skills covering image editing, typography and layout/composition.
- A design knowledge of HTML & CSS. Photoshop, indesign, illustrator
