About The Job

The Assistant Merchandiser will support the Commercial Merchandiser by reviewing the Open to Buy requirements of our Franchise Partners and aligning these with the Critical Path of the Core F&F Product Teams to ensure a optimal stock package is delivered

Main Responsibilities

·  Working with the Franchise Partner Teams (FPT) to ensure that the Core F&F Teams have the most accurate and relevant information to fulfil the OTB requirements.
·  Conduct regular meetings with the Core F&F Teams to ensure that OTB requirement is met in line with the contracts, understand their current trading position and working with them to minimise the impacts of this on Franchise, updating the FPT and Store Stock Planning (SSP) with all outcomes of these meetings
·  Work with Key Stake Holders within the company to ensure that Franchise are aware of key trading and strategy decisions from the Core F&F Team and how this will impact the range offered to the partners.
·  Using the F&F Franchise strategies, ensure that all central tools such as WSSI and Range Plans are up to date
·  Support the Commercial Manager with Critical Path management through provision of data and analysis
·  Summarising intake and dispatch positions by Class or/and Market and compare these to requirement, understand the variances between them both and make suggestions where possible to ensure that risks are avoided and opportunities are gained.
·  Help provide SSP with support to ensure that flows and continuity product have good availability throughout the season.
