About The Job

Do you have experience using ArcGIS in your career or during your education? If so, Tesco would love to hear from you!

We are currently recruiting for a Capacity and Scheduling Analyst to work within our Customer Fulfilment team. You will be part of a team of five and be responsible for managing store capacity for our customer delivery vans and take ownership of delivery schedules for your own unique area in the UK.

No day is the same here at Tesco. You will be frequently challenged in this role by responding to ad hoc changes in scheduling and be innovative during our busiest times of year such as Easter and Christmas.

We believe in training and developing our colleagues by offering a vast range of courses to expand your skillset as well as future progression within the team.

Main Responsibilities

As an integral part of our Store Support team, the Capacity & Scheduling Analyst will organise and assist in the distribution of our Tesco fleet with complete ownership of their specific region. This will include:

- Building and actioning the Capacity Plan for a region of the UK

- Planning and coordinating changes to delivery catchments, vans and slots

- Responding to day to day queries about capacity and scheduling

- Reviewing KPIs and building operational improvements

- Planning and delivering changes for seasonal events

- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

Ideal Candidate

Experience using Excel for analysis and ArcGIS.

SQL is desired

Proficient in using Microsoft Office

Good Communication Skills

Interested in distribution & logistics
