About The Job

The remit of the Finance Systems team focuses on providing a service to enable the business to manage their finance processes in a controlled manner. The objective is to bring increased control, automation, simplification and convergence using enabling technology.

This role will be part of the Finance Systems Support team and will be responsible for providing a first class service to the business to help support and enable them to manage their finance processes on Oracle Fusion.

Main Responsibilities

·  Support our HSC team, who manage System Administration tasks, with first line support of Oracle 11i applications
·  Receive/log, prioritise and resolve all issues/problems using the Technology ticketing system
·  Assist the HSC team with support for Oracle Fusion applications as they are deployed; initially to include
·  System configuration, as required, for the Source to Contract application, including documentation of all the additional configuration performed
·  Analyse Oracle patches to be applied at periodic intervals
·  Analyse the impact when upgrading Fusion to newer versions e.g. R12 to R13
·  Support the period-end close process
·  Liaison between the business, Technology and other support teams within Tesco
·  Ensure controls, segregation of duties and logical access are appropriate and regularly reviewed
·  Monitor key controls and support internal and external auditors
·  Provide end-user training, host drop-in clinics and workshops where necessary
·  Provide expertise to investigate system process improvements and development opportunities
·  Support the wider Finance Systems team to deliver first class service

·  Experience in providing functional support for Oracle 11i and / or Fusion
·  Experience with P2P particularly in sourcing and procurement contracts
·  Accounting or finance qualification (desirable)
