About The Job

Tesco Maintenance are seeking to recruit a BMS (HVAC) Technical Support Engineer. This position is based at our National Operations Centre in Milton Keynes where you will provide remote technical support to our field engineers ensuring a proactive diagnosis of maintenance problems to bring them to a permanent and timely solution. You will also work in collaboration with colleagues to optimize our resource and engineer dispatch programs. Technical knowledge of Siemens AS 1000 and PX & Trend BMS and effective relationship building across functions are important.

Main Responsibilities

Ensuring there is a safe environment for those who work and shop in our stores and offices.
Providing remote technical support for proactive diagnosis of maintenance problems to bring them to a permanent and timely solution.
Using the systems available to me to accurately identify trends and opportunities to improve our maintenance operation.
Working in collaboration with colleagues to optimize our resource and engineer dispatch programs.
Building effective relationships and communicating clearly across different functions, managing expectations where necessary.
Leading and providing support to technical projects.
Generating proposals to improve the maintenance support processes for HVAC assets.
Putting community, customer and colleague welfare at the heart of every decision I make.
Meeting all my statutory requirements.
Managing my workload to make the most of my time at work.
Being aware of the cost implications of my proposals.

Ideal Candidate

Experience within a relevant industry provider in an HVAC and BMS service role.
Siemens AS 1000 and PX & Trend BMS experience advantageous.
Health and safety awareness.
Diagnosis of HVAC BMS maintenance issues.
Use and application of more than one of the following maintenance technologies; Boilers, Pumps, Ventilation Systems, Direct Fired AHU's.
MS Office experience.
