Job description

We are an art gallery based in the heart of Brick Lane, Shoreditch, just minutes away from Spitalfields. We feature 20th Century and contemporary prints and originals.

We are looking to appoint interns immediately to help run the gallery and to help with the soon to be launched website. We also have an online arts magazine that someone might want to help with. Ideally, you will be able to devote two or three days a week.

The work will vary from day to day, so flexibility and the ability to multi task is required, along with a bright and cheerful personality, energy, enthusiasm and initiative. The ideal candidate will also possess good organisational skills, and attention to detail. Our internships will enable you to play a key role in the development of the gallery, whilst gaining a wealth of knowledge, training and experience. Please note that our internships are unpaid.

Essential:-
*Very good oral and written English
*proficiency in Microsoft Office
*ability to work as a team and independently
*good administrative and organisational skills

Desirable
* interest in modern and contemporary art
* knowledge of database management systems
