About the Team:
You`ll be joining the IT Engagement & Delivery Team as part of the Programme Management Office team. The team are accountable for the Assurance, Management Information, Processes and Toolsets used by the Project Management community to deliver our IT Roadmap.
Your Role:
As PMO Analyst, you`ll be part of the IT PMO team which support the IT Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) processes, ensuring we invest in the right projects and programmes to successfully deliver our business strategy. You`ll be responsible for coordinating a varied and exciting list of initiatives through the governance process. This includes providing quality management information required for IT Leadership Team decision making, taking opportunities for efficiencies and using the PPM tools to support your work.
Responsibility
-Assist and advise leaders, managers, and teams to the best use of project management disciplines and approaches
-Implement governance standards across IT Project Management community
-Produce reports which enable the management of improving our data integrity
-Carry out assurance reviews as the projects move through the Decision Points of the lifecycle
-Update and administer reports and KPI`s as required
-Share lessons learned and best practices across the IT community, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels
-Support the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools
-Manage communications from the PMO mailbox including regular reporting cycle requests
-Comply at all times with Operations and O2 UK policies and procedures, including health & safety, conduct, security, attendance, equality of opportunity, & time recording.
-Administer our key delivery tools - Clarity and Perform
Skills and Experience:
-Project/Programme Management Qualifications e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, MSP Foundation, P3O, PMP or equivalent
-Demonstrable experience working as a PMO Analyst/Administrator/Coordinator
-Experience of working within a Corporate Programme Management Office
-Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and proficient in Excel
-Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
-Skilled at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness
-Very good prioritisation skills to balance key priorities
-Ideally high level IT and Telco network understanding
-A strong customer centric approach
