About the team

The Security Access Control Team are responsible for the following:
-SecurID Administration
-Remote Access Administration
-Switch Access Administration
-Firewall Access Administration
-Firewall Rules Governance application (ANC) administration
The team is sited within the Security Operations team who together are responsible for the majority of TUK`s security monitoring, tuning and access control.

Your role

The primary focus and responsibility will be supporting Switch requests within the Security Access Control Team. Role is required to work with other members of the team to add, amend and remove users from switches and jump off servers. Role will also support the team with SecurID Administration and ANC administration when required.

Responsibilities

-Responsibility for Network Element Access Remedy queue, ensuring that all cases are delivered by the team within given SLAs (SLAx1= 94%, SLAx2=98 %)
-Responsibility for the Secure ID Remedy queues ensuring that all cases are delivered by the team within given SLAs
-Implementation of User Access requests across all in-scope core switch components that are deployed on the Telefonica UK network
-To assist with switch requests in the Security Access Control shared inbox, dealing with any emails received, to the satisfaction of the customer and within the locally agreed SLA (acknowledge and response 1 working day)
-To maintain working Instructions, processes and procedures for the management of Network Element Access
-Responsible for switch password management and the outage process. This will involve changing high level passwords on a weekly basis, maintaining all related spreadsheets, updating cases and keeping other teams informed of changes/issues such as service controllers

Demonstrable Experience

-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate, both written and verbal, across all areas of O2 UK
-Numerical skills with a good aptitude for administration and attention to detail
-Knowledge of, or aptitude for, database administration and graphics using PC packages, particularly Microsoft Office products, e.g. Access, Excel, Word
-UNIX Scripting experience
-Good Organisational skills
