Junior Copywriter - Manchester

Job description

In this role, you’ll be putting your natural way with words to work in creating web copy, blogs, sales copy, press releases and a host of other thing together for our clients. The topics will range from travel to personal finance. We work with businesses in dozens of different sectors, so no two days will be the same!

You’ll be reporting to the Search Director and working with SEO Campaign Managers and Content Promotion Specialists.

Your Responsibilities

• Produce content in line with briefs for our client websites

• Work with our content promotion specialists to create press releases

• Produce web copy for 3rd party blogs and websites for link building purposes

• Have an active involvement in the creative process of deciding what sort of content to produce

• Ensure that all given SEO requirements are included in any copy (for example, including relevant keywords and phrases)

• Meet deadlines

About You

You're a passionate wordsmith. Perhaps you're a recent Journalism or Creative Writing Graduate. Or maybe you don't have a Degree at all but you've been writing for your own blog or have done some freelance. You're now looking to take your first step into an agency role and have a desire to learn all you can about content led marketing in digital.

You're a hard worker, a perfectionist and someone who strives to improve constantly. You're a team player always willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
