Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Graduate job Kings Hill (Kent) HR / Training
Job description
If you have not considered recruitment before, then it's time to think again! A professional job with real responsibilities, real rewards and very real career prospects - that is what you can expect when you join the Teaching Personnel Graduate Recruitment Programme.
Teaching Personnel is the UK’s leading teacher recruitment specialist, operating nationwide through a network of local branches and our head office in Welwyn Garden City. We were established in 1996 and supply both teachers and support staff to over 50% of the schools in the UK. Our ethos is rooted firmly in the need to ensure that our teachers contribute to the quality and continuity of education in schools throughout the country.
Based in our office in Kent, our graduate trainee recruitment consultants will take part in an intensive induction and on-going programme of training, covering all the key aspects of the recruitment processes and providing them with the right skill set for a successful career in education recruitment. It doesn't stop there though and our on-going training and development will help you climb the Career Ladder, earning higher amounts in salary and commission as you go. Future opportunities exist to train and then take on a management role if that is where you would like your career to go.
Working as an Education Recruitment Consultant is challenging and hard work. We work long hours and it does involve a high volume of sales calls and face to face client visits but this also makes it a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience. Our teams all pull together and the harder you work, the more commission you have the chance to earn. After all that hard work, we're actually a very social bunch! Aside from regular branch or regional nights out we have two annual events (one in the summer and one at Christmas), which gives everyone in the Company a chance to get together and celebrate our combined efforts and a chance to get together and celebrate our combined efforts and achievements.
In return for your efforts we offer an excellent starting salary plus the opportunity to earn performance related commission. We also provide all our staff with a generous holiday entitlement, contributory stakeholder pension; life assurance; childcare voucher scheme; long service awards; regular local and national prizes for performance.
For this opportunity we are looking for individuals who are educated to degree level. What discipline you studied is not important but we look for people who believe in the same things we do - the desire to provide a quality and professional service to the teachers and schools who rely on us. A great 'can do' attitude, confidence, drive and the ability to work well in a team environment will help you make this a success.
Part of the role is to visit schools across the region so a full valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle will also be essential if you are interested in a position here.
