Temporary contract
Salary £18,000-£20,000
We are hiring for a temporary QC Scientist to work in the medical devices industry. This is a long term temporary role for the next 12 months.
What you’ll do
Working in stability testing you will be analysing medical devices for physical properties and their analytical chemistry. This role will involve finding out for example the amount of force required to mis-shape or tear a fabric based device for example, and also involve looking at the chemistry of the product over time in stability trials using chromatography, specifically HPLC .
Your background
For this job we’ll be more than happy to consider someone with little or no experience of the medical devices market, you will need a scientific background in the above fields and education ideally to degree level. Highly important will be your attitude and approach to your job role, it’s important you enjoy lab work and have an enthusiasm and desire to be working in lab testing. You will need to drive / live locally in order to access this location as our client is very much out in the countryside in a nice location - however one that does mean driving or being in the local area!
