Job description

Our Summer Stars internship programme, which launched in 2018, offers paid internships in agencies and in-house communications teams for BAME students, graduates and school leavers (18+).

The Summer Stars programme kicks off with a 3 day intensive PR & Communications boot camp at the end of June. The boot camp provides our Summer Stars interns with the opportunity to build their knowledge of the PR industry, before heading out into the workplace. Placements last a minimum of 4 weeks but can last up to a year, sometimes going permanent.

Internships are available at either a PR consultancy or an in-house communications team. You will be able to apply for internships that interest you, but you will not be able to specify which employer you go to - you’ll have to trust us to match you to the right employer. However, our application form allows you to indicate your preference for a variety of disciplines and sectors.

All of our internships will be in London and accessible on public transport.

You will be paid at least London Living Wage for the duration of the three-day boot camp and the internship.

The three-day boot camp in London will commence on, Monday 22nd June and end on, Wednesday 24th June 2020, which is compulsory for all successfully placed interns to attend. Once completed, most internships will generally start immediately.
