Art Startup - Paid Internship

Job description

In order to be suitable for this project a true passion for art and entrepreneurship is required.

The work is to do a trial for a new art tech and sales business. Once the trial is successfully completed a new business will be set up and if your commitment is proven the idea for you to lead and take ownership in the business to drive it forward. This will initially by down with founder funding and succeeded with a more substantial crowd funding round.

In order for successful completion of the trial project you will need to be able for the following tasks:
-Be able to classify and catalogue art work from local artists including taking and editing photos to put in our catalogue and website
-Research and find local artists looking for exposure and / or gallery space
-Engage with suitable local businesses to agree use of their wall space and a suitable compensation model
-Arrange for art work installations in line with business agreements

Key personal attributes required: A business mind, a passion for art as well as sales and negotiation skills

Desired profile
