Job Summary

We are looking for someone specialising in Business, Marketing & Social Media for a three - six month internship

to join our team at Sussex Make-up Academy in January 2018 with the view of employing you at the end of the six months.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will help us with Market research, running our social media accounts, approaching new business contacts, plus the general running of the business which includes responding to emails, updating our website & social media blogging plus more.

We are looking to work along side you so full training will be given as well as the freedom to listen to your ideas for you to carry out.

Qualifications and Skills

Ideally this position will suit anyone who is studying business, marketing, creative media skills, etc.

You don't have to have experience working in this area but a good understanding will help you to be successful.

If you are wanting to set up and run your own business, this internship will give you invaluable help and advice.

Although you don't necessarily need to have an interest in Hair and Make-up, it is a bonus if you do.

Benefits

DAYS AND TIMES;We are pretty flexible and happy to discuss what suits you best, ideally we are looking for someone to join us two days a week but are happy to spread this over a few hours each day or anything else that works best for you as our chosen candidate. Although we would prefer to work with you in person, we are happy for you to work from your chosen place and to conduct meetings via Skype.

COMPENSATION;This is a non-paid position. We are happy to compensate you for your travel / lunch expenses and will be training you up on how to run your own business so all information you gain will be beneficial to you if you are wanting to work freelance or have your own business. You will be trained up on how to run and market your business as well as how to get social media to work for you plus more. If you require further compensation, please feel free to discuss your options with us - our ears are open and we want to make this work for you as well as for us.

Desired profile

No specific qualifications required. Beneficial if you have studied business or marketing at school or know your way around social media.
