SUNDAY SOMEWHERE is an independent Australian eyewear label that appeals to the new generation of luxury consumers. We have recently relocated head office to London as the northern hemisphere equates to more than 80% of sales. We are stocked in over 500 stores across 30 countries. Our frames are worn by international celebrities like Cara Delevingne, Beyonce, Rihanna and Kendall Jenner.

Our core focus is eyewear, both sun and optical, with an expanding accessories collection that compliments the essence of discovering your Sunday, Somewhere.

THE POSITION

The Marketing Intern will work across all facets of SUNDAY SOMEWHERE’s Global Marketing and Sales strategy. They will specifically assist in executing and monitoring the social media content strategy and conversation across digital platforms.
Underpinning this is a strong alignment to our overall brand purpose, “to build a community around the endless pursuit of a Sunday, Somewhere state of mind” in which the social media plays a critical part as it’s the major touchpoint for people to experience the brand through rich storytelling and inspiration stories from people and places.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day functionality and operations of sundaysomewhere.com
Assist in executing the digital roadmap around website optimisation and user testing.
Assist with managing consumer acquisition strategies via CRM, affiliate marketing, PPC, retargeting, SEO and social media advertising.
Assist with the internal and external PR Celebrity and Editorial campaigns. Along with facilitating the brand ambassador program.
Assist in the pre and post production of new season campaign shoots.
Assist in executing international events, tradeshows and pop-up stores.
Execute and monitor the content strategy across all social media and digital platforms to build a strong and loyal SUNDAY SOMEWHERE community.
Assist with any online customer service enquiries.

Desired profile

Role Requirements:

Recent university graduate or final year of study.
Passion for fashion and online retail (has own blog highly desirable)
Articulate with good writing and verbal skills
Accuracy, attention to detail & follow through
Photoshop & InDesign Skills (highly desirable)
Experience and knowledge across key social media channels
Proactive self-starter with own bright ideas and suggestions
Help build and maintain a positive and co-operative team environment with internal and external partners
