You will join SUEZ EUROPE, who is looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, but the BU wants to develop its activities notably in the following countries: Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Serbia and potentially Spain. However, we also need to keep a close eye on the market, so that we can potentially develop in other countries in the region.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a dynamic and rigorous Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Director in orchestrating site execution, contract coordination, and strict project controls. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between operational site management and high-level project governance, ensuring that engineering milestones, financial targets, and safety standards are flawlessly met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site & Project Management Support
Act as the right hand to the Project Director in day-to-day site operations, coordination, and problem-solving.
Help drive project momentum, ensuring milestones are reached in compliance with contractual agreements.
2. Project Controls & Monthly Reporting
Own and update key project management tools: Master Schedule (Timeline), Budget/Cost Control, Progress Tracking, and the Project Risk Register.
Consolidate and prepare the comprehensive Monthly Progress Report for senior management.
3. Subcontractor Interface Management
Serve as the main interface and mediator between the two main on-site subcontractors.
Ensure seamless coordination of workflows, resolve interface conflicts, and eliminate execution bottlenecks between parties.
4. Permits & Legal Compliance
Supervise the Civil/Construction Site Manager in the thorough preparation and submission of all necessary operational documentation, specifically focusing on obtaining the Permits for Use.
5. Commissioning & Start-up Readiness
Supervise the Commissioning/Start-up Site Manager, ensuring proper resource allocation and efficient team mobilization for the plant's startup phase.
6. HSE Standards Enforcement
Work in close, daily collaboration with both Central and Local HSE teams.
Guarantee that SUEZ HSE standards and golden rules are strictly applied, monitored, and respected across all site activities.
WHICH SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE ?
General requirement: Dynamic early-career professional to support the Project Director in site execution, contract coordination and project controls for an industrial plant project in Poland. Acts as the bridge between operational site management and high-level project governance.
Education Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
Languages required: English: advance (mandatory). French and/or Spanish: an asset. Polish: Valuable
Required technical Skills : Project controls (master schedule, cost/budget control, progress tracking, risk register); preparation of monthly progress reports; understanding of construction and commissioning processes; permitting and operational documentation; MS Office (Excel, project-scheduling tools).
Required soft Skills: Organisation; strong coordination and mediation skills; proactivity and problem-solving; ability to work cross-functionally with subcontractors and HSE teams; commitment to safety standards; motivation to grow into greater responsibility. Willingness to grow into an international company.
