V.I.E Pilot Operating Engineer (M/W),

Context:

Suez operates a large seawater desalination plant in MIRFA, UAE. Pilot tests will run from July 2018 to May 2019. Thereby, we offer a position of V.I.E Pilot Operating Engineer (M/W), in our subsidiary of MIRFA (Abu Dhabi) SUEZ Middle East Water Services.

Job Description :

Monitor the trials with a seawater pretreatment prototype that will be installed at MIRFA. A period of training in France before departure is envisaged and this for a minimum duration of two weeks.

During this period the V.I.E will be based at the headquarters of Rueil Malmaison.

The V.I.E will also be present during the start-up phase of the prototype at the MIRFA site.

Missions:

* To train on an industrial prototype;

* Respect the planning of the tests, then ensure the exploitation and follow the performances of the prototype;

* Participate in the definition of the operating conditions and optimal dosages of the reagents used (we naturally aim for the best rate of elimination of turbidity, suspended solids, algae and lowering of SDI);

* Demonstrate creativity and initiative to ensure optimal operation of the prototype.

The V.I.E should also be autonomous while working in close collaboration with the project manager.

Required profile

Have reached a BAC+5 in School of Engineering, you justify a specialization in Water Chemistry, Process Engineering or Environment.

Essential criteria: Rigor, autonomy, a handyman side and the knowledge of the plans of experiences will be the essential qualities to realize the project and to succeed this professional experience. English proficiency.
