As part of its development in Africa, Suez has a new project in Angola, PROAGUA project consists of helping the Luanda water company (EPAL) to provide a better-quality service to its customers, while improving its technical performance and economic.
The project will be executed by a consortium formed by MITRELLI and SUEZ INTERNATIONAL. It is structured into pillars: Production, Distribution, Customer Management and Transfer of Know-How. The resources made available to EPAL will be new works, rehabilitation works, services, expertise, transfer of know-how and training. This project can be considered as a first step in a more global transformation plan which will transform EPAL into a benchmark company for Angola and southern Africa.
We are looking to hire an Administrative and Financial Manager
VOTRE MISSION
Reporting to the PROAGUA project and the Africa Finance Department, your missions will be:
- Ensure the implementation and appropriate administrative management of the entity dedicated to the project and in line with local accounting, legislative, statutory and tax rules. Implement the administrative follow-up of the contract as well as the management and administrative follow-up of contracts with subcontractors.
- Proactively participate in the general management of the project in coordination with the Project Manager and his/her deputy and other key project people, in consultation with the BU (CFO and Management Controllers) and the Group's support departments.
- Consolidate the financial statements and guarantee the production of financial data in the systems made available by the Group in compliance with the Group's quality standards and deadlines. Guarantee the application of Suez procedures.
- Oversee the accounts of the branch as well as the tax and social management of the local entity, in partnership with the Bita project finance team.
- Monitor and establish monthly invoicing situations with the Project Manager and pillar managers.
- Coordinate the financial programming and invoice collection aspects of the project with the Program Finance Manager of Mitrelli, our partner on this project.
- Regular monitoring of project risks and opportunities by ensuring the adequacy of provisions according to the risk management strategy and progress.
- Prepare monthly closings of accounts by validating the income and expenses and the cash situation of the business after validating the integrity and completeness of the data.
- Prepare budgets, PMTs and rolling forecasts, from a P&L and cash point of view.
- Ensure and optimize the follow-up and cash forecasts of the deal. Ensure compliance with customer collection deadlines and supplier payment schedules.
- Actively participate in the Cost Control function by ensuring that the target budget remains in line with the strategy and the distribution of the scope and by having a pro-active management of modifications and variations.
- Follow up on the various guarantees and guarantees required by the contract, in conjunction with the central teams.
- Supervise the Purchasing department and ensure a good interaction between the Purchasing department and the Finance department, in order to follow up on our commitments in financial terms, and to trace the origin of the goods and services needed for the project.
- Supervise general services and in particular fleet management, insurance, office rentals and expatriate accommodation.
- Supervise the Information Technology department, the development of the department's activities, user support and the management of Internet and telephony subscriptions.
VOTRE PROFIL
- Master's degree in Finance and Accounting
- Significant experience in a similar position.
- Commercial sensitivity (contracts, management of claims and damages).
- Ability to adapt in a complex international context and in a matrix organization
- Versatility, Rigor and autonomy, analytical capacity
- With good interpersonal skills, you know how to develop a critical eye in your analyses, and demonstrate motivation in your work.
- Mastery of computer tools including Excel and SAP.
- Fluency in Portuguese is preferred, or if not Spanish or Italian.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Good writing skills in all three languages: English, French, Portuguese
