You will join SUEZ Europe & Central Asia, a Business Unit (BU) looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, but the BU wants to develop its activities notably in the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and potentially Spain. However, we also need to keep a close eye on the market, so that we can potentially develop in other countries in the region.

You will join SUEZ Europe & Central Asia, a Business Unit (BU) looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, but the BU wants to develop its activities notably in Uzbekistan and Central Caucasus countries.

We are looking for the passionate in water and environment VIE candidate that will join the project development team, reporting to the Projects Director. The candidate will be based in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), working within the project development company and in relation with the team working on the “Transformation of drinking water supply and sewage systems in Tashkent city” contract.

 The candidate will carry out the following tasks:

·       Working with the Projects Director in developing drinking water production and supply and/or wastewater collection and treatment projects and/or waste management from early identification to services contracts start-up,

·       Collect and analyse data to support the projects development,

·       Participate in preparation, review, and finalisation of any necessary document with the various department of Suez for the purpose of the projects,

·       Participate in definition and follow-up of the works from other departments of the company, consultants (internal or external) or subcontractors associated to projects evaluation, definition, due diligences and/or analyses campaigns,

·       Coordinate the subcontracting procedures from order to reception of services and payment,

·       Participate in meetings with clients, authorities, …, as deemed necessary for the development of projects,

·       Participate, coordinate or realise on site visits, meetings, due diligences, for the purpose of the projects,

·       May travel within the country or within the Central Caucasus region for the purpose of the projects.

 

  Which skills and experiences you will need to succeed in this role?

General Requirements:

- Meets the criteria of the VIE Program (EU National, between 18 and 28 years old)

- Driven license B is a plus

Educational Requirements:

-Has an engineering educational background

Languages Required:

-Proficiency in English. Russian language is a plus.

  Required Technical Skills:

- Project management skills,

- Experience in data analyzing and study reporting,

- Basic knowledge on water, wastewater, and waste management,

- Basic knowledge on companies’ financial statements and models,

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, …).

Required Behavior Skills:

- Ability to manage tight deadlines,

- Ability to work to achieve targets,

- Good communicational skills,

- Willingness to adapt to different working environment and culture,

- Critical approach to problem solving.
