Operations Manager

Job description

The Operations and Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all operation and maintenance activities of the water treatment plant are carried out in full compliance with the contractual requirements, company standards, safety policies, and performance objectives, while adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices. He is accountable for ensuring the safe, reliable, efficient, and continuous operation of the plant to achieve the required water quality, production targets, and operational performance.

·  Responsible for overseeing and managing all operation and maintenance activities through the supervisory team, including process performance, power, chemical management, budgeting and cost control, health and safety compliance, risk management, and asset reliability. Ensures that plant operations are executed efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements, company standards, and business objectives, while preparing and presenting regular operational and performance reports to management.
·  Responsible for leading and managing the entire O&M team, ensuring a well-organized workflow, strong team spirit, and a culture focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Accountable for ensuring that the plant consistently meets design and performance requirements and is operated and maintained in the most efficient, reliable, and cost-effective manner at all times.
·  Responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including SUEZ management, partners, and the end user, through regular meetings. The O&M Manager is expected to effectively present the plant’s operational status, ensuring clear communication and promoting a positive image of the company.
·  Responsible for all commercial aspects of the O&M contract, including contract administration, billing and invoicing, payment follow-up and collection, customer and stakeholder coordination, and ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations to support the financial performance of the project.
·  Establishes and monitors the company’s safety and risk assessment objective, policy and procedure to ensure that all operational activities have met the safety requirements.
·  Establishes and monitors the company’s quality system and procedure implementation to ensure that Company’s operational and services are according to the contract.

Approval on invoices to client.
Approval on monthly water-meter certificate.
Approval on Purchase order.
Approval on progress monthly report to client.

Collaborative Authority
Approval on budget, with Superior.
Approval on recruitment plan, with Superior.
Approval on power and chemical purchase.
Approval on non-technical matters.
