You will join SUEZ Europe & Central Asia, a Business Unit (BU) looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, but the BU wants to develop its activities notably in the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and potentially Spain. However, we also need to keep a close eye on the market, so that we can potentially develop in other countries in the region.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Position Summary:

 The Hydraulic Modeler will lead all activities related to the development and management of hydraulic models for drinking water and wastewater networks. This includes model development, calibration, validation, and continuous updating to reflect system changes and operational data.

In addition to model development, the role involves supporting the digital solutions that based on the model, planning tools, and decision support software.

The successful candidate will use the models to simulate a wide range of scenarios, including demand forecasting, emergency response, pressure management, energy efficiency, and future network expansion.

The ideal candidate is technically proficient, organized, and proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills, and a solid understanding of water distribution and/or wastewater systems and proven hydraulic modeling experience.

  Responsibilities & Duties:

§  Hydraulic modelling of drinking water and wastewater networks and associated planning studies;

§  Model build, calibration and validation;

§  Implementation of digital solutions based on the hydraulic models;

§  Analysis of existing water and wastewater systems with assessment of existing problems and recommended solutions and/or upgrades;

§  Preparation of comprehensive reports;

§  Ensure protection of interests, non-disclosure of confidential information and documents to the third parties;

§  Ensure high-standard health and safety.

  Which skills and experiences you will need to succeed in this role?

Qualifications:

§  Degree in water (hydraulic) engineering;

§  Experience in hydralic modelling of municipal water networks;

§  Knowledge in instrumentation

§  Proficiency in Uzbek, Russian and English language.

§  Proficiency in MS Office skills.

Special Skills/Abilities Needed:

§  Proficiency in hydraulics

§  Ability to interpret complex instructions, manuals, methodologies.

§  Knowledge of occupational hazards and Health and Safety regulations.

§  Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

§  Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

§  Time management and strong ability to meet deadlines.

Experience specifications:

·  Minimum of 3 years in Hydraulic modeling

BU: Division Eau - Eau Europe & Asie Centrale (excepté France)
