EHS/Insight FSR:

• Provide regional EHS support to Long Term and Short Term job sites, including risk assessment/high risk activity engagement, audit development, and chemical approval
• Work with Regional EHS Manager on regional initiatives, training, metric development, and EHS process tool transitions
• Provide process support, data review, and write detailed customer centric process review reports to InSight (a data collection and analysis tool) clients. This will include regular telephone and e-mail based communication in a professional manner with colleagues.
• Daily duties will extend to in depth analysis, and timely troubleshooting support utilizing site data captured from full scale operating membrane based water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Provide support to InSight setup team (site setups and tag, chart and data quality reviews).
• Communicate with fellow Field Service Team Members to leverage knowledge and ensure issues are recorded using Customer Issue Track (CIT) tool and understood to allow uninterrupted customer service.
• Design, monitor and refine maintenance plans that includes preventative maintenance scheduling, preventative maintenance inspection recommendations and technical data review
• Establish operations data record keeping, including operation logs, trend logs, chemistry logs and reports
• Working with the onsite operations team, develop related SOPs, work instructions and all other execution documents
• Load assets and maintenance plans into the Enterprise Asset Management System (SAP, ServiceMax)
• Working with support teams, ensure proper installation of remote monitoring systems
• Utilize the proper procedures and equipment when handling chemicals: HCl, NaOH, H2SO4, N2H4, Al2 (SO4) 3, O3, etc
• Consult with customer management and technical counterparts including communications with other FSRs, Field managers, Environmental Health and Safety, sales, engineering, logistics, outside contractors and plant operators regarding equipment and operations regularly
• Perform water analysis and collect samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis
• Perform daily testing that may include NTU, Hardness, Chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, Na, Conductivity, Silica, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Conduct preventative maintenance and calibrate equipment per established process
• Monitor equipment performance and operation
• Transfer data to Microsoft spreadsheets, make trending graphs, calculate equipment run length and throughput, interpret data and make necessary adjustments, notify appropriate personnel when changes are made, upload information into a common libraries, etc
• Maintain monthly reports (charts / graphs), monthly Safety audits, daily and/or weekly reports
• Write work procedures, Job Safety Analysis, maintenance / repair schedules
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Have the ability to track usage, anticipate peek needs and balance inventory levels including inventory reconciliation and reordering
• Ensure compliance of volume and quality per the customer's contract specifications
• Work with PLC controls, understands water process treatment design, and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels
• Ability to read and understand Process Flow Diagram (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Drawing (P&IDs)
• Participate in on-site project management (start-up and commissioning), troubleshooting, Clean In Place, PVC repair, cut / glue up to, but not limited to 6" PVC, valve change outs, backwashing, air scrubbing, sluicing, chemical drum / tote change outs, filter bag and cartridge filter replacements, RO membrane replacements, basic electrical troubleshooting, etc

Eligibility Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent to High School Diploma with a minimum 2 years of work experience in the water industry or in a related field and/or 4 years training (college, military, vocational/technical school).

-Minimum 5 years EHS work experience in the water industry

-Proficiency in the Insight Program

- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word, Excel) and ability to learn company and site specific computer applications.
-Ability and willingness to travel extensively
-Ability and willingness to frequently lift and perform other manual work
-Ability and willingness to be on call and work weekend schedule
-Must gain and maintain access to assigned facilities.
-To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record.

-At least 2 years Field Service experience – in Water or related field.
-College or Technical / Trade School Degree in Engineering / Technical field and / or equivalent work experience in the industry
-Familiarity with water treatment processes and applications in the food and beverage industry
